Customer responsibilities

The customer is responsible for accurate project information, lawful placement authorization, a clear delivery and pickup route, compliance with the accepted-material list and fill limits, and preventing unauthorized use of the container while it is on the property.

Do not place hazardous waste, liquids, chemicals, batteries, fuels, medical sharps, or any unapproved material in a container. Ask before loading appliances, electronics, tires, mattresses, concrete, soil, roofing, or other heavy or regulated material.

The property owner or customer may need approval for a container placed in a street, sidewalk area, alley, or other public right-of-way. Rules vary by jurisdiction. General information on this website is not a permit.
